Rachel Lloyd is the founder of Rawhide Gypsy and The Remuda, two brands inspired by the transformative connection between horses and people. After navigating her own journey of healing and rediscovering herself, Rachel found strength, purpose, and peace through the grounding presence of her horses. That experience became the foundation for a mission to help others reconnect with themselves through nature, authentic relationships, and the wisdom of horses.
Based in Mountain Home, Idaho, Rachel hosts equine wellness retreats, horse experiences, and Western lifestyle events designed to inspire resilience, confidence, and personal growth. Through Rawhide Gypsy, she has created more than a Western lifestyle brand. It is a purpose-driven business where every purchase helps support a larger vision.
A portion of proceeds from the Rawhide Gypsy shop, along with generous community donations, helps fund scholarships for individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to The Remuda's equine wellness experiences. Rachel's dream is to build a welcoming place where horses, nature, and community come together to help people rediscover their strength, embrace hope, and find their way back to themselves.
